A Skirball Academy Class
Michal Nachmany
Prayerbook Hebrew
Designed for students able to read basic Hebrew, this class will serve as a bridge to Hebrew prayers and Torah portions. After reviewing reading fundamentals, you will strengthen your fluency by building vocabulary and acquiring basic grammar using the prayer book. Learning basic Hebrew roots (the language’s foundation) and sentence structure will support understanding and confident reading.
By the end of the course, students will be able to recognize key grammatical structures, have expanded Hebrew vocabularies and read prayer texts with greater confidence and understanding.
