Miriam Meir

Intermediate Hebrew

(ONLINE)

This intermediate level class is for students who have a basic vocabulary of ~700 words. The class is a combination of speaking and grammar instruction. Some of the grammatical skills we will learn and practice are more forms of past and future tense verbs, causal words and sentences and time words and sentences. We will continue to expand everyday vocabulary. The textbook for this class is Barosh Uvarishona (First and Foremost) by Goni Tischler and Ateret Yarden-Barak. The class is on chapter Kaf of the book. Additional reading and grammar materials are provided: poems, songs, and short films. For students new to the class, we recommend reviewing the vocabulary on pages 8-17 of the workbook, and please feel free to contact us for more details.
