A remake of Mel Brooks’ Academy Award-winning film of the same name, The Producers is a satirical black comedy starring Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick and Uma Thurman. The film tells the story of a mild-mannered accountant and a con artist theater producer who scheme to get rich by fraudulently overselling interests in a stage musical designed to fail.
