For a single evening, The Temple Emanu-El Streicker Cultural Center will be transformed into an avant-garde restaurant offering an elegant dinner.
Each of the four courses will be carefully selected by acclaimed cookbook author Adeena Sussman, who will be on hand to share stories about the inspirations behind her menu and its unique appeal.
Exquisite food, expert Israeli wine pairings, extraordinary company . . . an incomparably sababa — cool — dining experience.
Coauthor of 15 cookbooks, including three collaborations with Chrissy Teigen, Adeena Sussman broke out on her own with Sababa: Fresh, Sunny Flavors from My Israeli Kitchen, named a Best Fall 2019 cookbook by The New York Times, Bon Appétit, and Food & Wine and the New York Times bestseller Shabbat: Recipes and Rituals from My Table to Yours. She specializes in intermingling the many cultures, flavors and spices of Israel.
A fundraiser to allow The Streicker Centers to become even bolder, STRIKE is limited to 100 guests at $500 per person ($250 tax-deductible), including the meal, signed copy of the book and a commemorative gift.
