June 25

This event has taken place

Back to the Future (1985)

The skyline of New York; friends, new and old; delicious snacks; drinks; and…movies on a large screen.

What better way to spend a summer evening after the sun goes down and the heat of the city dissipates?

The Membership Committee and The Temple Emanu-El Streicker Center invite you to join us on the 9th floor rooftop for classic films, a stunning view and the company we always enjoy.

Spawning two sequels and a Tony-nominated musical, Back to the Future, the science fiction blockbuster film directed by Robert Zemeckis, follows Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox), a teenager accidentally sent back to 1955 in a time-traveling DeLorean built by his eccentric scientist friend Emmett “Doc” Brown (Christopher Lloyd). Finding himself in 1955, he inadvertently prevents his future parents from falling in love – threatening his own existence – and is forced to reconcile them and somehow get back to the future.
