Modern Hebrew for Beginners (Spring 2026)
Designed for students who can read Hebrew, this class will focus on building practical communication skills for everyday situations: common vocabulary, useful phrases, and essential grammar for greetings, introductions, asking questions and expressing basic needs. Through interactive exercises and role playing, you will gain confidence in speaking and understanding, improve pronunciation, and deepen your familiarity with Israeli culture.
Our textbook will be Ivrit Alfon: A Hebrew Primer for Adults (Hebrew Edition), available at Walmart.com – link HERE. Additional materials will be provided by the instructor. Basic Hebrew knowledge required.
