A Skirball Academy Class

Miriam Meir

Intermediate Hebrew

(ONLINE)

Building on their earlier foundation in Hebrew, students will learn additional forms of verbs in the past and future tenses and study both causal and time words and their use in sentence construction while continuing to expand their everyday vocabulary. Our textbook will be Barosh Uvarishona (First and Foremost) by Goni Tischler and Ateret Yarden-Barak, and we will start on chapter Yod.  Added reading and grammar materials will be provided.

This class is for students with basic vocabularies of ~700 words. If you are new to Miriam Meir’s classes, you should review the vocabulary on pages 8–17 of the workbook.
