In 2020, there were 2,024 antisemitic incidents recorded in the United States. French Jews are abandoning their homes, removing their Jewish stars and avoiding Jewish neighborhoods. The number of antisemitic incidents across Canada rose by 20 percent; in Australia the percentage hit 30.
Deborah Lipstadt, the nominated US Department of State Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, joins us to talk about antisemitism across the globe.
