For months, we’ve read and watched the news from Israel and Gaza in anger, sadness and concern about both the situation and the coverage. How often have we considered how it must feel to a reporter on the ground capturing and interpreting the realities, shaping them into stories and convincing editors and publishers to run them?
Bianna Golodryga, a CNN anchor and senior global affairs analyst, joins us during Shabbat services to take us behind the scenes discussing her time in Israel and coverage of the conflict in an interview with Rabbi Joshua M. Davidson.
Born to Jewish parents from Bessarabia in Soviet Moldova, Bianna Golodryga began her TV career producing news from the New York Stock Exchange. Prior to joining CNN, Golodryga served as co-anchor for CBS This Morning and Good Morning America‘s weekend edition, as well as serving as ABC News’ Business Correspondent.
