Modern Hebrew for Beginners (Spring 2026)
This class is intended for students who can already read Hebrew. It focuses on building practical communication skills for everyday situations. You will learn common vocabulary, useful phrases, and essential grammar for greetings, introductions, asking questions, and expressing basic needs. Through interactive exercises and role playing, you will gain confidence in speaking and understanding, improve pronunciation, and deepen your familiarity with Israeli culture.
Student use the book Ivrit Alfon: A Hebrew Primer for Adults (Hebrew Edition), available in Walmart.com – see link HERE. Additional materials will be provided by the instructor. Basic Hebrew knowledge required.
