AND HERE’S MODI
A live taping of Modi Rosenfeld’s podcast
with special guest
Omer Shem Tov
He’s one of the most heartfelt and hilarious Jewish comedians who proudly advocates for Israel and the greater Jewish community. Join us as Modi records his popular podcast, And Here’s Modi, before a live audience and with special guest Omer Shem Tov, one of the former hostages from 10/7. Omer’s story of keeping hope in captivity has inspired audiences around the world.
Omer has long been Modi’s “dream guest” and now, you don’t want to miss what promises to be an honest, humorous and deeply meaningful conversation about faith, resilience and the Jewish community’s unbreakable spirit through the darkest times.
Modi Rosenfeld was voted one of the top 10 comedians in New York City by The Hollywood Reporter and is one of the comedy circuit’s most sought-after performers. A former investment banker whose first open-mic night made him realize that stand-up was his true calling, Modi has gone on to become a successful fixture in New York’s vibrant comedy scene and headlines around the country and across the globe. His comedy often incorporates his Jewish heritage.
Omer Shem Tov, who is now 22, was taken hostage by Hamas from the Nova music festival on October 7 and survived 505 days in captivity, much of it isolated and alone. His parents, Shelly and Malki Shem Tov, founded the Hostages and Missing Families Forum just 24 hours after he was kidnapped. For almost 18 months, they advocated, lobbied, campaigned, marched, protested and prayed, leaving no stone unturned in the efforts to bring their son home. They remain committed to fighting for the release of every hostage held in Gaza.
