THE ISRAEL CULINARY TRIP 2021

Israel is abuzz with avant-garde eateries — elegant restaurants, trendy street food, artisanal bakeries, wineries, organic farms and craft distilleries — that reflect the diversity of its cultures. And their world-renowned tables are set for you!Over the course of our 11-day journey, we will travel from farm to market and kitchen to table with the people whose work and passion create the country’s unique flavors. So join us to dine at top restaurants, learn from and cook with master chefs, sample special tasting menus, visit local farms, taste-tour market-places, sip wine with vintners and explore many of Israel’s historic sights.

Day 7 | Wednesday, June 23

Innovations in the Fields and in the Kitchen

  • Learn about cheesemaking and enjoy lunch at Goats of the Wind farm
  • Visit Netafim, the world-renown pioneer in sustainable agriculture, and Kibbutz Magal, a center of olive, olive oil and almond production

  • After dinner visit to the Western Wall

Taste Jerusalem

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Explore the Muslim Quarter of the Old City and sample its tastes
  • Ride the light rail to the Machane Yehuda for a tasting tour of Jerusalem’s most bustling market
  • Free time to enjoy the ancient, or the modern,
    city on your own

Anticipating Shabbat

Shabbat in the Negev

  • Free time to lounge by the pool
