Want to master a bit of Hebrew to make your upcoming trip to Israel more comfortable? Think it would be fun to drop some Hebrew phrases into conversations with friends or colleagues? Or hoping to recapture some of the language you’ve lost over the years? In this lively class, you’ll learn to introduce yourself, find your way around, order falafel or sabich — and master some basic reading and grammar along the way.
Students should already know how to read Hebrew letters and vowels. A list of recommended resources for learning the alphabet is available upon request.
Textbook used for course: Alufim be-alef bet by Dalya Roth and Meira Rom. Available in print and as eBook.
