Jerusalem native Michal Nachamy is a former faculty member at Hebrew Union College and teaches Hebrew across New York.
The course is designed for students tackling Hebrew for the first time. We’ll begin with the alphabet and vowels and then move on to how to blend them together. Even as you practice writing the letters and reading, you will also develop your listening comprehension. Our textbook will be Teach Yourself to Read Hebrew (available HERE). The accompanying flash cards (available HERE) are recommended. Additional course materials will be supplied by the instructor. Email us at with any questions.
